White clover field

I rest in the clover field,

under the blue skies,

watching ladybugs and butterflies.

.Gentle wind sweeps away my hair,

sun rays caresses my cheeks,

and I lay down,

eyes sealed with sweet dreams.

My weariness is gone,

grief I know no more,

my heart feels so light,

I feel like an elf,

ready to take her flight!

Sleepless night

Dark night, cold wind blows,

candle flickers and curtain flows.

I crawl in my bed, trying to sleep,

trying to put my pain at ease.

I hear thunders, pouring rain,

I try to sleep but in vain.

Into the darkness I stare,

my pillow soaked in hot tears.

I twist and turn, I ache,

I just finished reading The Girl With Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson, who was a Swedish writer. Its an award-winning novel so no wonder I got absolutely engrossed into it. Its a a thriller mystery with amazing plot. The most fascinating part of the story is its heroine and the way she has been portrayed. Lisbeth Salander, a 24 year old girl with very unusual gifts. She is sharp, intelligent and has photographic memory. She is described as petite, extremely slender girl who looks far younger than her real age. But at the same time she is also described as being quite strong and fearless, almost invincible.

She is mostly dressed in black, black tees, jeans skirt, leather jacket n boots. She has innumerable piercings in her body and tattoos to sum up with. One of the tattoos, carved on her shoulder blade is that of a dragon. She rides Kawasaki bike inspite of her small fragile body. Her taste of music is also unusual. She is one of a kind!
